For the first time in its history Clayton Piano Festival will present a unique Memorial Day tribute which explores the multifaceted experience of armed forces personnel, past and present. Narrated by Marine veteran Mike Stojic, the event not only speaks of the challenges that many soldiers face, but also triumph in the midst of adversity, and the pursuit of peace and reconciliation. The concert promises a diverse array of music that will take you on a journey. From iconic classical and opera numbers to the toe-tapping rhythms of jazz and Broadway, there’s a little something for everyone. Featuring the extraordinary talents of multi-genre vocalist Damon K. Clark, violinist Christin Danchi, pianist Jonathan Levin, mezzo-soprano Angelique Alexander, the dynamic David Richard’s Swingsters Union Band, and Blue Sands String Quartet. Join us for this celebration of courage, resilience, and the power of music to unite us all!
